Investigation-based modelling and real-world data analysis, taught by people who mark this paper. The questions are long and unfamiliar by design — that is exactly what can be practised.

Online revision course
IB Math AI HL Paper 3 is an investigation-style exam for Diploma Higher Level students, built around real-world problem solving, data analysis, and applying mathematics with technology.
The paper is 1 hour long and worth 25 marks, which makes it a real part of your final score. It assesses conceptual understanding, mathematical modelling, effective use of the GDC, clear communication of reasoning, and confident interpretation of real-world data. Paper 3 is not about memorising formulas — it is about thinking like a mathematician.
What students are tested on
You work with real-life data scenarios and are expected to analyse, model and justify your conclusions using Applications and Interpretation tools and technology. Strong communication and logical justification are what separate a good answer from a top one.
Reading what a plot is actually telling you, before you calculate anything from it.
Choosing the right model for the data, fitting it, and saying honestly how well it fits.
Correlation, standard deviation, and what each one does and does not let you claim.
Constructing them properly, and explaining in words what the interval actually means.
Using the calculator to investigate and verify, not only to produce a final number.
Writing the justification in the wording the mark scheme rewards, every time.
How we prepare you

At IB Demystified we prepare students for AI HL Paper 3 with a clear, exam-focused approach. We train you not only to reach the correct answer, but to present the solution exactly as the examiner expects to read it.
That means step-by-step Paper 3 practice, GDC training, modelling guidance and real-world data analysis — with the emphasis on thinking critically and communicating clearly, because that is where the marks sit.
The workshop
A focused workshop on the AI HL Paper 3 format: full topic coverage with real-world applications, GDC proficiency, and practical exercises on the question styles this paper actually sets — taught by a practising IB examiner.
13 – 14 April, 18:00 – 20:00 UK time

The course runs over two days, with two hours of live teaching each day — four hours in total, spent on the paper rather than on the whole syllabus.
Install Zoom before the first session, so none of the two hours is spent setting up.
Miss a part and nothing is lost — every session is recorded in full.
Go back over the material whenever you need it, right up to the exam.
Course package
Live online, taught by a practising IB examiner, and recorded so you can come back to it any time before the exam.
