About IB Demystified
Most IB help explains the content. Very few people can explain the mark scheme — what a 7 actually looks like on paper, where marks quietly disappear, and the exact wording an examiner is trained to reward. That gap is the whole reason IB Demystified exists.

IB Demystified began with a simple observation made inside the examining room: the students losing marks were rarely the students who did not know the subject. They were the students who had never been shown what the mark scheme was actually asking for.
What started as one teacher explaining that difference has grown into a team of practicing IB examiners, moderators and textbook authors who teach the same way — from the marking side of the paper.
Our team does not only teach the IB. They sit on the other side of it — marking real scripts, standardising other markers, and writing the material students study from. That is three different views of the same exam, and each one changes how a lesson is taught.
An examiner has read thousands of answers to the same question. They know exactly which sentence earns the mark and which one looks right but earns nothing.
Moderators make sure marking is consistent across the world. They can tell you where teachers themselves most often mark too generously.
Authors build the resources students revise from, so they know the syllabus command terms down to the word, not just the topic.
