Joddat Amna Akhtar

I have extensive IB teaching experience, with a strong specialization in French Language Acquisition. I have taught IB Diploma Programme French B and French Ab Initio, as well as IB MYP Language Acquisition. I am an IB-trained educator and have also worked as an IB French B Examiner, giving me a strong understanding of IB assessment criteria, standards, and expectations.

My expertise includes language acquisition, curriculum planning, assessment and feedback, differentiation, exam preparation, and student-centered learning. I have also served as a Group 2 Language Acquisition Coordinator, supporting curriculum development, assessment practices, teacher collaboration, and academic planning. My approach focuses on developing students’ communication skills, confidence, intercultural understanding, and ability to use French in meaningful real-life contexts.
