Sitwat Khan

I have over 14 years of international teaching experience, including extensive experience with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) Science and the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Biology. I have taught MYP Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as IBDP Biology, in international schools in South Africa, Vietnam, Dubai and Pakistan. I am an IB MYP trained teacher and have completed IB Biology Category 1 and Category 2 workshops, along with the IB Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) Category 1 workshop. My specialisation is in conceptual understanding, inquiry based learning, scientific investigation, exam preparation, and supporting students with Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE). I focus on developing students’ critical thinking, data analysis and scientific communication skills while helping them understand IB assessment criteria and apply their knowledge confidently.
